Boston Green Building began construction and demo of a unique 1840’s Carriage House this past month located at the “flat” of Beacon Hill in Boston.  The  3,840 sq-ft, three-story, row-house consists of four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large living area great for entertaining, and a two car garage. Also lets not forget the two roof decks, one being a courtyard flooding the third floor with light and the other on the rooftop for viewing the neighborhood.

This before and after shot is taken during the demo of one of the smaller living spaces that opens up to the street with large windows that will be preserved. BGB plans to renovate much of the house by adding modern features, and creating more inviting spaces. Amazing architectural features are scattered throughout the carriage-house, in which BGB plans to preserve and bring back to life.
