Boston Green Building is about to start work on a Deep Energy Retrofit (DER) & addition in Lexington which will also be a part of the Thousand Homes Challenge. The project began as a DER, and has expanded to an addition & reconfiguration of the second floor to better suite the client’s needs. The home, built in 1946, consists of three bedrooms, two baths and an attached garage. This will be the third project that BGB has worked on to take part in the Thousand Homes Challenge.
