Passive House New England is a group of architects, designers, builders, engineers and energy efficiency-geeks who are interested in learning about and promoting the Passive House building construction standard in New England.
The annual symposium for PHNE is on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Mass Art.

Come out to “Getting it Built”, where we will hear professionals speak about their experiences and challenges in getting a Passive House built and performing in New England.
We will learn about the economics of a passive house from Adam Cohen, followed by talks architects, designers and builders from around New England talking about their experiences in building Passive Houses in New England. Laura Briggs will also talk about converting a Solar Decathlon entry into affordable housing. We will end the day with a moderated panel discussion on the value of a Passive House.
Attendees will also be invited to a networking event after the symposium.
As a related event, there is also a construction sites tour open to attendees on Sunday; featuring a retrofit in Boston and a new construction site in Somerville.
